R. Kelly’s Court Date Pushed Back Again
right The singer’s Oct. 13 hearing in Chicago to face child pornography charges was rescheduled by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office for Oct. 27.
Kelly has pleaded not guilty to 14 counts of child pornography stemming from a videotape sent to the Chicago Sun-Times that allegedly shows him engaging in sex with a 14-year-old girl.
The masked musician is sticking to his claim that the man seen in the widely-bootlegged videotape is not him. Judge Vincent Gaughan will preside over the case.
If convicted on the child pornography charges, Kelly could face up to 15 years in a state prison and will be forced to register as a sex offender.
