Gabrielle Union Inks Deal with ABC for New Television Pilots
According to Variety, the network and studio are to seek out and develop new shows for Union to star in.
left Union, last seen in ABC’s short-lived Night Stalker, is already meeting with writers to find a
project to begin work on by the end of the year. If Union doesn’t like any of the projects
presented to her, the deal says, she will be available to star in one of the network’s pilots.
In addition to Night Stalker, Union's TV credits include the HBO made-for-TV movie "Something the
Lord Made" co-starring Mos Def, and the CBS drama City of Angels. She has also guest starred on
The West Wing, Friends, ER and 7th Heaven.
She most recently voiced a character on Family Guy.
For her most recent project, Union will star in Tyler Perry’s new film Daddy’s Little Girls, in
theatres Valentine’s Day, 2007.
