"We got them," said the rapper as he left the court room. "Just the fact that it's a rap artist against the police, that never happens. Rappers never win. We never win against the police or the government." left Juvenile and some of his cohorts visited the Regency Square Mall in Jacksonville on July 23, 1999, but were asked to leave presumably because of their improper attires and foul language, which the mall claimed violated their policy. After a fight broke out, Huxley-Bujeda, an off-duty police officer who was called to the scene, claimed she injured her knee while trying to restrain the rapper. Four years later, Bujeda filed a lawsuit claiming she had since undergone four knee surgeries, and has medical bills topping 68k. The defense, though, was able to prove that the officer had injured her knees more than 30 times in the past from playing sports as a child, and had degenerative arthritis. Attorneys for the officer, who claim Bujeda’s childhood knee injuries were to her right knee, and this case was based on her left knee, plan in filing for an appeal.
