Snoop To Unveil Line of Pet Products
The Snoop Dogg line of pet products will be available for pre-sale on Amazon.com on November 21, which will coincide with the release of his next album, The Blue Carpet Treatment. Other retailers will begin selling the products next spring.
Marketed by JPI Pets, the line will feature dog toys, clothes, and accessories inspired by Snoop. Some items will feature a sound chip that features signature Snoop Dogg phrases.
right JPI’s President of Marketing, Tony Lawlor, expects Snoop’s fans to jump on the opportunity to turn their pets into Snoop fans, too. “The late November pre-order offer of our dog toys and apparel will enable Snoop Dogg fans to buy the items before they hit other mass retailers in Spring 2007,” he says.
Snoop was more succinct about the line. “Go get some quick, dogg-gone-it!” he said in a statement. “Cuz Snoop Dogg said so. Bow Wow!”
The Snoop Dogg line will feature dog bones, footballs, boom boxes, hooded sweatshirts and basketball jerseys. Those most enamored with Snoop’s pimping persona should be sure to purchase an animal print faux fur coat for their pooches.
