You know, when I first started watching Flava of Love Season 1, I couldn't stand New York's ass! I was like, okay so your here for Flav, BUT you could be nice and make some friends too (shit that could have helped her get the other chicks out. After all, that was her approach in season 2 with Crazy). Anyhoot, when season 2 rolled around, I actually wanted New York to win! I didn't want Flav to humiliate her one more time by hitting it, quitting it and splitting it. f**king her and ducking her. Because that wasn't funny (but in a way, it was her fault too). Now what is funny is some of yall opinions on the whole situation. Some of yall saying it's entertainment, but in the next breath getting all riled up about what the next person said. Why? They're entitled to their opinion, just like you're entitled to yours! Anyhoot, all I know is I WILL be watching New York's show because she is crazy!! I don't give a f**k if her show ain't as good as Flav's. You know why? Because her (and her mother's) strong as personality will make it funny as hell! For all the hatin' a$$ dudes and females, give yourself a break. Without a doubt, New York made that show what it is. Straight out the gate, she let those other skunks know that she was there for Flav and she was consistant with hers. I can honestly say that I only tuned in each week b/c of her outspoken candidness. If you all will tell the truth, every one of us couldn't wait to see what New York was going to do next. Why do you think that she made it to the final round, both times! I am not saying that homegirl is "all that", but she is presentable. Compared to ya boy, Flav, she looks like Miss America. I feel that she is the only chic from both seasons who actually did like that dude. Deelicious is cool and all but she does not have the same flair as New York...which is why she is stuck riding on Flav's coattail, and even resulting to posting flicks of her big-a$$ all over myspace, while New York is laughing all the way to the bank (w/ her own show). All those other chics from both seasons, w/ the exception of NY and Deelicious are either trailor trash or broke skunks from da'hood that are all washed up (around my way, we call those hoes "sack-chaser"). I agree 100% with dollapiece: evry last female that went on Flava of Love was there with personal intentions that had NOTHING to do with a serious relationship with Mr. F. If those females were willing to do all that they did (shakin their dimpled, stretchmarked behinds; kissing him; and who knows what else)just trying to advance themselves in the miniscule & irrelevant ways they considered important..then hey, no sweat off my brow. BUT! I feel sorry for those women and even sorrier for our people as a whole: most of those women are parents...how is it that they can "go there" while their children are waiting in the wings? What about the men who have these choices for mates? And their parents/relatives? Have they no shame? Apparently, and sadly, not. When are folks gonna realize that not all money is good money, and that not everything that can bring you money is worth it?
Advice for the ladies: YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN WHATS BEHIND & IN BETWEEN YOU!!! Be about your business and stop playin yourselves!!! PLEASE!! If not for yourself, for your children and the younger generation in general...remember, we ARE our brothers' keeper.

I personally think that every single woman that has been on Flavor of Love has gone their for their own personal reasons and it wasnt to be with Flava Flav. I wanted to throw up every time one of them kissed him. It is a shame that people have to stoop so low to get their name and face out there. Do it another way ladies. Stop making us look bad. And as for New York, I think her overdramatic personality is fake and she only did it to come up and it worked so I am not mad at her at all!

Well well well..... I am 14 years old and 2 tell da truth "I LOVE NEW YORK" she reminds me alot of myself. I like the fact that she knows she beautiful and have it all. I like that alot. Being a female i know how it feels to know that u are beautiful. And yes da folks above yall hatin ass need 2 kill ya self. New york did make da show and ain't nothin wrong wit her at all. Yes she's kind of crzy and out there but DAMN dats New York!!! I LOVE U NEW YORK AND I WILL BE WATCHIN YOUR SHOW!!!

It seems like people are just jealous! Nobody is saying anything about Deelicous who initially said she was there for Flav, but now has naked pictures posted all over myspace. She talked about New York not being fit for Flavs children, but I guess it's okay to show your ass to the world and children alike, who are also visiting myspace. So I think if we just took the time to evaluate our own lives and stop hating on those young, single and free people who made a different choice than us, maybe we will be able to just move on. If you don't like what's on T.V.....simple solution...DON'T WATCH IT!!!

You know what it's a shame that we have these many people out here with such a jacked up view about this woman. None if us really know her to pass judgement like that! All this was entaining to me. IF you don't want to watch the show them DONT, but how would any of you feel if you were called the names that most of you are calling this woman. STOP HATIN......FOL was the highest rating show there was. EVERYBODY watched it. I thinks it's a heck of an idea to capitialize on it and give NEW YORK her own Show. Practice what you preach people. Speak on things that you know. How can anyone take a reality show seriously. I think VH1 and all these other TV stations are capitalizing on these shows. They don't anything positive at all, Flava of Love was a joke to me and now this I love you New York ain't nothing but a Hoe with 20 desparate men over one not so pretty woman who has insecure issues. I would let my kids watch something like this. All the shows that are on TV have negative view of different races. Bet's the wire is stupid to me, because there is more to life than watching a show that men doing drugs and killing each other. I feel sorry for TV programming.
