"Flavor of Love" Spin-Off Premiers January 2
Premiering January 2 at 9 ET on VH1, The show will be the converse of Flavor of Love, as 20 men battle for the chance to be New York’s one and only.
Mark Cronin & Cris Abrego, I Love New York’s executive producers, see this as an entertaining opportunity to help New York, born Tiffany Pollard, find happiness. "New York is a beautiful, spirited and sexy woman who deserves a man who appreciates her -- she is also one of the most outrageous reality personalities we have ever seen -- this show should be a lot of fun," they said in a statement.
The show will also feature New York’s mother, Sister Patterson. Sister Patterson was featured twice on Flavor of Love, both times expressing her distaste for Flav. She’s expected to behave the same toward those suitors on I Love New York that she isn't fond of as well.
Many F.O.L. fans have wondered whether a show with men competing for a woman would be as explosive as a show with women fighting over a man. But, VH1 says the men of I Love New York want New York “at any cost,” so expect fireworks.
