Game: I wanted the “One Blood” remix to be what “Self Destruction” was back in the day, to be what “We All in the Same Gang” was, what the “Scenario” remix was—hip hop. I wanted every artist that I’ve befriended in the hip hop game to be on this song. We got everybody, man. We’ve got Jim Jones, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Fat Joe, Lil Wayne, Twista, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Jadakiss and Styles P, Tha Dogg Pound, WC, E-40, T.I., Young Dro, Pitbull, and Ja Rule, and there are other people on it.
WHO DID YOU REACH OUT TO FIRST?
Game: I reached out to 50 first.
WHAT?
Game: Yeah. I tried to see whether he was going to be a part of the remix, man. Chris Lighty, his manager, thought me and Jimmy Henchmen was joking. He ended up saying no, which I expected, but I wanted to sort of be funny and reach out and see if he’d do it.
WHY WOULD YOU EXPECT HIM TO SAY NO?
Game: Because me and 50—that’s my archnemesis, yo. We in the same room, we kill each other. But I’m such a funny guy, I thought I’d do it anyway—just to say I did it.

Game: Yeah. It took, like, four and a half hours, man. And after they started, I was bleeding. I even helped him in the early stages, put him in the Documentary DVD, put him in the video for “Certified Gangsters” when me and Jim Jones did that, and I kept Eazy alive—so even that was helping in its own right.

As long as I shed light on the situation, it’s going to be a lot better than the opposite of that, which is me trying to glorify gangbanging. As a rapper myself I pay attention to what the big time stars do and say to each other and about each other. Its ashame that the people who write their comments can't all be positive about what they say. Its really crazy that some of them have gotten to the point of talking smack to each other on a forum that should just stress a hate it or love it attitude and then just keep moving on. However, I do understand that everyone has their choice to do and say what they want. Whether anyone on this page agrees or not about what the Game has to say, to me its all feedback anyway...good or bad all feedback is positive. If no one made any comments at all, that would be negative. I commend the Game, Snoop, 50 and G-Unit for at least keeping our culture alive to some degree. If the powers that be wanted to shut Hip Hop down then they would and it would really be dead. Then again, there's too many artist in Hip Hop and Hip Hop generates too much revenue to ever die. Would be years, decades...maybe a century before that happens.

Man, I am really proud of The Game for being a spark the evolution of the new MC. You can only go so far being an MC who only lives off of beef. The Game is a man who can see the water under the bridge for what it really is, the past. Jayceon is the future and so is his son. Good looking blood/cuz.
