Rev. JB says:
I have been a James Brown fan since 1967, when I was three years old, and have amassed an incredible collection of all, and I do mean ALL of his original LP's on the King, Smash, and Polydor labels-- most of which are in like new to new condition, spanning from the 1950's through the 80's. I even have a copy of the withdrawn Out of Sight LP on Smash released in 1964, which was immediately pulled from the shelves by a King records court order, as well as some of the rare first King covers when they had White people on the cover instead of James and his Flames. If the makers of the James Brown movie need any of James Brown's original LP's, they can contact me at the email address provided. I am willing to loan, not sell-- they are too historical.

My grandmother used to babysit James Brown when he was a child. She watched him grow from rags to riches. He has lived a prosperous life and was surely blessed with money and talent. He will surely be missed by his beloved fans.

zorina London says:
I had the honor of working with "THE GOD FATHER OF SOUL" in the 80's, he taught me alot and gave me alot of play on stage! James Brown told me i was like him because i would work hard on stage. I would give all i had just like he did, and loved every minute of it.The most memorable is singing and dancing with him in S.F. at the Faremount hotel in the viniesian room (i'm not sure of the spelling so please forgive me if i didn't spell it right), James scolded me and the other back up singers and told us "If you act local you will always be local! You have to act international to become it!" I never forgot that lesson, and it has helped be to become international! I am now known as "The Black Pearl OF Asia" an international singer/dancer/actress thanks to GOD first and to James Brown. I am also officially "The GOD Daughter Soul" dubed by the God Father of Soul himself JAMES BROWN! By the grace of GOD i am now "The GOD Daughter of Gospel Soul"
I have to tell you this! When i was a little girl growing up i didn't want to be dark skinned, i wanted to be like my light skinned sisters (and that's because everybody always made me feel like i wasn't as pretty as they were because i was dark (my sisters didn't though). Then James Brown came out with "SAY IT LOUD I"M BLACK AND I"M PROUD" and he was black and beautiful!! He could dance and sing and i wanted to be just like like him! That changed my life! I became proud of my dark beautiful black skin and taught myself to dance just like him! I was a girl but i could skate, camel walk, and do the splits just like James Brown in HIGH HEELS! I dreamed of growing up and dancing and singing with him and by the grace of GOD, MY DREAM CAME TRUE! James Brown taught me to give my all, when i perform and don't worry about being cute on stage, just look good when you first go on stage and then GET DOWN!!! And that's exactly what i do. Thank GOD for James Brown and i pray he made his peace with GOD before he went home to GOD (As we all should) because GOD truly blessed him with the gift of song and dance, and GOD used him to change my life.
