Actor Mekhi Phifer (ER, 8 Mile, Clockers,) has collaborated with writer Ronnie Warner to form two separate production companies, Facilitator Films and Facilitator Music. The film company will executive produce This Christmas, a family movie starring Delroy Lindo, Regina King, Loretta Devine, R&B heartthrob Chris Brown and Idris Elba (Daddy’s Little Girls,The Wire), which began filming Jan. 8. This follows their first project, the stoner comedy Puff Puff Pass, which Phifer also directed.
In addition, Facilitator Music has teamed up with producer Todd Mushaw to release Face ( myspace), a rapper from Reston, Va., who has gained regional recognition with the mixtape Face'N Tha Streetz Vol. 1.
"Being able to develop projects for film, television and music has always been a passion and goal of mine so I am thrilled to be launching Facilitator," said Phifer via his publicist. "Both Ronnie and I share a creative vision and drive to create a variety of
diverse projects across the entertainment spectrum."
A "spiritual outer space suspense thriller" is also in the works.

Hi,
I am so touched when I see people stepping out on faith and fulfilling their dream. I'm also a writer and producer. My passion is theater, but I have written one gospel movie and produced two.
The reason I am writing you is because I have written a story (draft) that I'm looking to pitch to someone. And after reading about you and your new project, you may be interested in seeing if it is something you want to give a shot. Please note that it is not in final script. If you're interested in checking it out, please contact me at: 913 Viburnum Road, #303, Odenton, MD 21113.
Again, best wishes to your success.
