Brandy Unharmed in Fatal Car Accident
It happened on December 30 on the 405 Freeway near Los Angeles. Brandy's car struck the vehicle of Awatef Aboudihaj, 38, who died the next day at a nearby hospital. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Brandy (see bio, photos) was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash, according to her publicist Courtney Barnes. No arrests have been made.
A statement issued by Barnes said: "(Brandy) wishes to publicly express her condolences to the family of the deceased" and asks the media to "respect the privacy of everyone involved at this time."
