Conversations between Bill Clinton and historian Taylor Branch are scheduled for publication at the end of 2008 in a tome entitled Wrestling History: The Bill Clinton Tapes, purchased by Simon & Schuster for an undisclosed amount. The interviews begin in '92 and continue throughout his two terms. They consist of his day-to-day observations of the presidency, as told to his old friend Branch, who's known the former president since the early '70s.
Publisher David Rosenthal told the New York Times, "They're old friends and I think they have an affectionate relationship, to say the least. So I think this is not so much in any way to discover any deep, nasty skeletons in Bill Clinton's closet. Nor do I think its meant to polish the apple."
Clinton allegedly received somewhere between $10 and 12 million for his 2004 memoir, "My Life."
