I believe R. Kelly is a very talented young man. I would first like to start out saying that if he is guilty of the crime he will be punished, not by man, by God. I think that R. Kelly can be innocent. He is a public figure and many see $$$$ signs when they hear his name. It's very possible that someone initially decided to create a tape (we all know it's possible) to incriminate R. Kelly. Think about it the man's life is practically open to the public. There are a lot of intelligent people in the world today capable of doing this, and as someone else stated monkey see, monkey do. No one on this site should be calling R. Kelly a pedophile or a wife beater unless they were right there to witness the act. You cannot believe what you hear but you can always believe what you actually see happen so until you see him actually do these things refrain from calling the man names and labelling him. If for some reason today or tomorrow someone decides to accuse you of the same things because someone told them it was true would you not want people to give you the benefit of the doubt as opposed to believing it and trashing you to everyone they know? after reading your momma's comment i had to make yet another comment. The bible says judge not unless ye be judged, and i can not quote the scripture word for word, but the principle factors of the text is who are you to judge this man, I am a mother of five, of which three of my children happen to be girls, i also am a victim of rape on more than one time by other family members, but the reason for my being today, is i learned to channel all that pent up hate and anger into love, when i walk down the street i find something on whomever i come across to compliment them on regardless of what it may be, and in doing so that makes me feel better. you need to redirect all that anger that you have inside of you in a more positive manner.
Also you were not there you do not know if this man is guilty or innocent, i saw the tape and i can not say with a 100% certainity that it was in fact him, there is so much that you can do these days with computers someone could have altered the tape, then you know how the story goes, if one person cries wolf, there goes the flood gates for yet another to see dollar signs. Look at what happen to Bill Cosby, but let me mention one thing too you and I hope you read this comment, you can not believe everything you read in the media, perfect example is in this same article its stated that on Aaliyah album cover it read all songs produced and written by R Kelly especially for Aaliyah, well i happen to own that particular album Age Ain't nothing but a number and i read the cover from back to front and i did not read anything like that anywhere on the album and if that is not perfect example i do not know what is, and before you ask or make yet another negative comment yes i purchased my cd when it first came out. thats whats wrong with our people we do not rejoice at anothers success but we truly available and willing to comment on their demise. what was your comment when George Micheal was accused of the same thing, and people chose to believe in him and support him. it is not the crime of which he has been accused of that angers you maybe it is his success and your own inner personal anger. you may want to focus on your own situation and sweep around your own front door before you try to sweep around someone elses. other words if you do not have anything positive or encouraging to say, just do not say anything, because your heart should go out to anyone if they did commit this type of crime, because truly they are sick and need of deliverance, as well as much prayer.

I agree with the public if RKelly has commited the crime he should do the time, but is he going to be able to go to Camp Cupcake like Martha Stewart, or spend 2 days in jail like Paris. But I did agree the portion of the article that stated that this brother has been crying out for help for years without help. In the beginning up until Tp-2.com I loved R Kelly's music, but after that I have not purchased anything from him he has definitely began to display some perversion that i can not accept and he does need help. But as always with the music or entertainment industry the entertainers private life becomes a public display and the only means of escape often is sex, alcohol or drugs if not all three. We must first remember that they are human beings first and although they have chosen to entertain us they do deserve to have an opportunity to have private life with out always being judged for their actions, because we all make mistakes, its just that we do not always have a camera present. If you are a true fan of R Kelly, he truly does need our prayers at this time because the brother does need deliverance, guidance, support, love, and encouragement. As for his wife Andrea, if she truly loved him, what type of woman leaves her man when he needs her most, regardless of what you they may have been going through she had stayed with him and forgiven him up until that point, and we as black women always wonder why our men decide to change or switch races, I am not making any excuses, but this sister does make it seem more understandable when we see a brother with some loot with a w**** on his side, because often times she is not just there for the money or the good times. To R Kelly I pray that you get the help you need and that God see you through and if you do not remember where you came from, before the fame, fortune and fans. Always remember how to pray, remember the days when you could not put food on the table or if you were unsure if you could put a roof over your head, pray like there is know tomorrow, because truly prayer changes things and pray with an earnest and sincere heart, God could move mountains and take this situation and turn it into good. Always give back to the neighborhood that you came from, never forget the children. Don't know if Kelly is guilty or innocent If he is found guilty he's got problems and if he's innocent he still will have problems, don't think people will ever let him forget the case. All I know is that to me R Kelly is one of the most emotionally strongest people I know of. No matter whats happening or what people say R keeps on moving forward and taking care of business. He did'nt cope out and go hittin the pipe, alcohol, etc. I would have liked to read more in depth about the many ways in which Kelly copes with his life as it is now. During all of his issues with the court system, family, friends, and Jay Z he is still the hit maker and creative artist that he is. i just finished reading the R.kelly article and it's kind of scary. to me, it does nothing to help his case, it only hinders it. i agree with Wendy Williams on this one, we have to seperate the man from the music. i'm not accusing, but he seems to have done the deed. he has a taste for young flesh, it brings out his most sexual content: (808, Bump, bump, bump. promise remix, etc.) it's true those who molest have been molested. My heart is so heavy for the children in this world today. I am praying for them because they are under attack. They are under attack by the very people who are supposed to protect them. Please please please talk to your children and make sure they are okay and reasure them that they can come to you about anything. R Kelly should be in jail he's a grown man who knows better. In the ninties didn't he get in trouble for having underage dancers bumping and grinding and he married Aaliyah at fifteen! It doesn't matter how immature or thoughtless these girls were they were underage and he had multiple tapes which says he didn't care. He's a pervert.

You know, it's a damn shame this man can't lead a productive life and move on with his career without some magazine shittin on him everytime he begins to achieve some type of elevated popularity. It's almost like you're intentionally trying to bring him down. He has not forgotten about the charges, and neither have his fans or haters. I agree with Ladi, women we all know that when we were 15 and 16 we were lying about or ages to date older guys and I know when I was 15 I could pass for 18, not to put all the blame on the females because his ass should be asking to see some ID. First of all R.Kelly is human just like anyone else and alto we did see the tape that we assume would be him we do not no for a fact thats the reason it is called a trial. Also i been to Chicago personally myself and i can see how it would be hard for him to distinct a teenager from an adult im a woman and i was confused myself. And who knows, im sure she enjoyed it hell when i was 16 annd 17 i wanted him too. So dont be so quick to judge.

Here is the 1st problem. R.Kelly should have been jailed when he married Aalyiah at 15years old. He has mental issues, that we keep avoiding, because he makes great RnB music. He has a problem, let's not be fooled by his great music, or keep stepin' in the name of love..while he defiles these young girls.....he needs to go to jail, where he can get a taste of his own medicine.
