A Houston judge has ordered a temporary restraining order against Rap-A-Lot's J. Prince, following a suit filed by 7303 Records head Ronnie Bookman. Judge Patricia Hancock found that "imminent and irreparable injury will result in the absence of injunctive relief" and has ordered Prince to stay 500 feet away from Bookman's home or business. In a suit filed April 12, Bookman alleged Prince ordered several associates to beat him in a dispute involving their record labels. The suit alleges Prince and Rap-A-Lot backed out on their promise to release a Bun B feature on a 7303 album after Warner Brothers approached Bookman with a development deal.
