Court Papers Filed in JMJ Case

Letter alleges details of Washington accusation.

Court documents filed in the 1994 murder of Randy "Stretch" Walker named Ronald "Tinard" Washington as the shooter. According to the Boston Herald, a letter written by US Attorney Sean Haran accused Washington of chasing Stretch with two accomplices. "During the chase, (Washington) fired a gun out the back window, striking and killing Randy Walker," according to the letter. Regarding the Jam Master Jay slaying, the document alleges Washington stormed Jay's studio and "pointed his gun at those present in the studio, ordered them to get on the ground, and provided cover for his associate to shoot and kill Jason Mizell." Fern Yates, spokesperson for the Mizell family, said in a statement, "We're relieved there's some information coming out, although we understand that it's not the full story,"
