Latin Music Billboards: "Hips Don't Lie" = Hot

Shakira, Wyclef win "Hottest Duet." "Hot Song" goes to Mariano Barba.

In case you didn't know, it's official: "Hips Don't Lie" is a Hot Latin Duet. So said the Latin Music Billboard Awards, which handed the award to Shakira and Wyclef for the track at their annual three-day conference in Miami, which commenced with an awards ceremony and performances by nominated artists. Also winning the top honor: Mariano Barba, a gentle-voiced crooner from Mexico who's been making waves on American radio with his ballad "Aliado del Tiempo," and won the award for "Hottest Song." Watch the video here: In other news, reggaeton megastars Wisin y Yandel won not only for Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, but also for Best Latin Ringtone ("Rakata"). Yuridia, famed for her participation in the Mexican reality show La Academia, won the award for Latin Pop Album of the Year, for La Voz De Un Angel. And in the reggaeton categories, Don Omar took the Reggaeton Album of the Year for King of Kings, Luny Tunes garnered the Producer of the Year Award, and Rakim y Ken-Y won Best Reggaeton Song for "Down."
