Nelly Gets Release Date, Stars in New Film
Nelly drops his new album August 28.
Nelly's new album is scheduled to drop August 28, according to his publicist. The rapper has been recording the as-yet-unofficially titled project, his fifth, in St. Louis and Atlanta, as of yet no collaborations or producers have been officially announced, though he has been rumored to be working with Ashanti, Fat Joe, T.I. and Jermaine Dupri, among others.
In other Nelly news, he's following up his role in the football film The Longest Yard with another sports comedy called Rolling Thunder. "I can't really talk about it," he told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, "but we're working on a project with one of my all-time favorite pastimes going on. It's a bowling flick."
