Smoking Gun: Cam Filed NYPD Complaint in '99
Cam's "no snitching" code: sign 'o' the times?
Cam'ron is scheduled to appear on CBS's "60 Minutes" this Sunday, explaining to host Anderson Cooper why the Harlem rapper would never snitch or cooperate with police - even if a serial killer lived next door. ("I would move," the rapper tells Cooper.) But according to a 500-page NYPD dossier obtained by the Smoking Gun (click to read), Cam'ron filed an official complaint with the police in 1999, after he was jumped by 15 men at a basketball game and ended up in the hospital.
