30 Rock star issued court-ordered alcohol-detection device.

"30 Rock" star Tracy Morgan has been ordered to wear a device that can detect alcohol consumption through the skin, according to TMZ.com. The bracelet, called a SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring), was issued by a Los Angeles Superior County Court last weekend to deter Morgan from consuming alcohol. For 90 days beginning May 25, the device will check Morgan's alcohol levels every 30 minutes. If it determines Morgan has consumed alcohol, his 90 days will begin again; a second offense will result in 30 days in county jail. The booze bracelet was ordered in conjunction with a DUI conviction and a subsequent probation violation, when he was pulled over for driving erratically last November. "30 Rock" aired its season finale last week. The comedy was renewed by NBC for a second season, though last week the show's star roster was in question, when key player Alec Baldwin asked to leave after a voicemail to his 11-year-old daughter was leaked to the press. NBC however, said Baldwin would remain.
