Cops: Yayo's Mother's House Shot Up
The Queens home was hit with bullets late Weds.
NYPD confirmed that the Queens home of rapper Tony Yayo's mother was sprayed with bullets Wednesday evening. Yayo's sister told the New York Daily News, "I think they did it to send a message, but we are innocent people. Either me or my daughter could have been dead." Twelve bullets penetrated the front door and a picture window, but Yayo's sister and two-year-old niece were upstairs at the time of the shooting.
As reported yesterday by VIBE, Yayo's lawyers were scheduled to make a statement on the matter, but later said they would give no comment. Yayo is scheduled to appear in court April 25 for charges related to the alleged assault of Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond's 14-year-old son.

I am not here to judge or comdemn that is not my job, but as part of the black community and society as a whole it is my place to tell you that we all need to be held accountable for our actions. I am glad that yayo's family was not harmed but it goes to show a perpetual cycle that has been going on for too long in our community..."I will get you back syndrome". We have replaced love with ignorance, and violence and made our commuinities unsafe. Yayo my advice to you, is to reflect and rememeber that bad company corrupts good character. Also remember when your wealth and fame fades who will really be there to have your back and stop letting others ride on your coat-tail.

Some idiot out there is punk enough to go and shoot up his ma's crib and one or maybe even all of the black sistahs in the home at the time could have been hit. I hope Yayo's ass is getting his reality check right now and not just one from g-Unit. When you comin' up as an artist like you are, I know the media and all them fools wanna market an image.
