The "Aunt Jackie," a Harlem / YouTube dance craze in the vein of "Chicken Noodle Soup," has landed creator Jason Fox a spot on Jermaine Dupri's new label, Island Urban. The second signee after Hot Dollar, Fox made the "Aunt Jackie" months ago, and saw it spin out into the nether-lands of myspace and YouTube - with over 275,000 "Aunt Jackie" views on the 'Tube alone.
"I think were seeing the life of hip-hop coming back with songs like 'Aunt Jackie,'" said Dupri in a statement. "It's the kids acting like kids used to act when I was growing up, and I love it because, to me, hip-hop has been too cool for school lately. It's time for a change."
Fox joins Hot Dollar on Dupri's newly created Island Urban roster. Watch the original Harlem YouTube jam:

It's cool people want to dance again. I'm tired of looking at videos where everyone is cheerleading or being too sexual. Just have fun!
