Bad Brains Tours, Plays Show on a Yacht

Legendary punk band releases new album, tours.

The complete reunited line-up of legendary punk band Bad Brains - including vocalist HR, bassist Darryl Jenifer, guitarist Dr. Know, and drummer Earl - is embarking on a tour later this month to promote their new album. The record, Build a Nation, drops June 26, and was produced by the Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch. The tour begins May 25 in Portland, Oregon for two nights, and stops in Seattle (May 27) and Asbury Park, NJ (June 24) before culminating in a boat show in New York for the Rocks Off Concert Cruise on June 25. Bad Brains on a yacht, on a Monday. We thought this day would never come. The quartet also plays the Rogers Picnic in Toronto (July 29) and the Virgin Festival in Baltimore, MD on Sunday, August 5, with more dates possibly added. For more info, Bad Brains is on myspace.
