Dr. Dre Spawns a Surgeon

Dre's son Curtis Young, aka Hood Surgeon, drops first record.

Hood Surgeon, known to his pops Dr. Dre as Curtis Young, is releasing his first album this summer. Hood Surgeon: the Autopsy of Curtis Young, drops July 24 on Affluent Records, a new label formed by A&R star Oscar Sanchez. The album, a brief 16 tracks long, is a detailed journey through Young's life; the tracklist includes the Knoc-Turnal-produced "City2City," and a melange of classic West-Coast-themed car bumpers, including "West Coast Bounce," "Ride to This," "Chevy Music," "Paradise," "West Side" (featuring David Banner), and "Daddy Was A Doctor."
