Twista to Bush: Your Veto is "Bogus"
Chi-town's finest blogs about Bush's Iraq bill veto.
Chicago rapper Twista is airing out the president for his veto of the $124 billion Iraq Spending Bill, which also set a timeline for American troops to be completely withdrawn from Iraq. In his blog, Twista's Turn, he expressed dismay at the president's choice, and plead for Americans to write and call their government officials. He writes, "We need to say something effective to bring our troops back home. We have troops dying every day... something needs to be done."
Twista's column has run in Chicago's "Red Eye" paper, a Chicago Tribune publication, since April.
