In case you just can't get enough of Jennifer Lopez's Spanish-language album, Como Ama Una Mujer (How a Woman Loves), Univision has announced it will run a miniseries based on the record. J.Lo, who helped create and produce the program, said it was inspired by actual events, and details the difficulties of love in the limelight.
On Wednesday, Univision rolled out its fall line-up and added 30 new shows, including "Amas de Casa Desesperadas," a Spanish remake of "Desperate Housewives" filmed in Argentina. Other new shows include "RBD: La Familia," a reality show about the popular Mexican pop act; "Pasion," a love story centered around seafaring pirates, and "Yo Amo a Juan Querendon," about a plain-looking man who is, in fact, a true player.
In other news, Telemundo, another Spanish network, said it would add five new telanovelas to its fall line-up, including "Las Brujas de South Beach (The Witches of South Beach)," about four women who were sisters in another life.
