THE BEAT: Lily Allen, Eve, and more
Lily Allen may still be a rookie in the larger bubble of celebrity-dom but she's certainly a star to paparazzi here in New York. Which is perhaps why the singer, according to TMZ.com, was let out on bail yesterday for "allegation of assault" following Allen swinging on paparazzi after leaving a Soho nightclub, in March.
Ms. "Pit Bull In a Skirt," Eve, has pleaded no-contest on her DUI charges, yesterday. According to TMZ.com Eve has to spend 45 days in a SCRAM alcohol monitoring device attached to her ankle. She also has to pay $1400 in fines and penalties, as well as take first offender alcohol education program. The DUI charges come from a car accident the rapper had in April, while in Hollywood. On the bright side, the "record" comes just in time for her "record" Here I Am, which is slated to drop in August.
In London yesterday, The Spice Girls announced they're reuniting as a group. This follows Scary Spice finding out that comedian Eddie Murphy, is in fact, the father of her three-month-old daughter, Angel Iris. Which says to us that for Scary, the group break-up to make-up has nothing to do with dough . . . Because she's clearly about to be paid a handsome child support. The group is planning a world tour starting in December.
