Regarding the altercation between T.I. and DTP Executive, Chaka Zulu, Zulu has released the following statement: DTP Record Executive Chaka Zulu was involved in a physical altercation during a special private luncheon held in Hollywood, CA on Sunday, June 24, 2007. In the mid-afternoon, Zulu was approached by rapper T.I. at the Kevin Liles hosted event and after an unprovoked attack from the rapper, was forced to defend himself. Both Zulu and T.I. escaped major injury. Says Chaka Zulu, "its a shame that things like this continue to happen especially with the backdrop of an event that was about benevolence and charitable works. I'm thankful that all issues have been resolved." Chaka Zulu is officially a co-Founder/CEO of Disturbing Tha Peace Records (Bobby Valentino, Chingy, Steph Jones, Shareefa) and manager of Grammy Award winner and critically acclaimed actor Chris "Ludacris" Bridges. T.I. reportedly punched Ludacris's manager Chaka Zulu Sunday in Los Angeles, after a verbal altercation at Kevin Liles' "Make It Happen" power brunch. A short fight ensued, but both parties emerged largely unharmed. For years, T.I. and Ludacris were said to be enemies both on and off the mic, though their beef was reportedly settled in recent months. T.I.'s camp has said a statement on this matter is coming soon.
