Over the past year, R. Kelly's strongest quality has been his artistic resilience in the face of adversity: a full album and too many guest-appearances to count prove that even when the cops come knockin, Kells stays mic-rockin. Now, as his child pornography trial finally heads to court September 17 - with the child in question actually testifying
for him - Kells premieres
Trapped in the Closet Chapters 13-22 on IFC.com, with a personal appearance and debut in NYC scheduled for this Wednesday.
Chapter 13 is a fairly tame prologue to the chaos that will definitely ensue, as we find Sylvester and Twan, freshly out the joint, driving in a car, headed toward an unknown destination; meanwhile, Rosy and Randolph argue about her constant spying from the window.

THE HIGH (/LOW?) POINTS:
* NO WEED IN SYLVESTER'S CAR
Twan tries to roll a blunt from the passenger seat; Sylvester responds, "You crazier than a fish with titties if you think I'm gonna let you smoke that shit in my car."
* ROSY AND RANDOLPH: IT'S A DRAW
In the middle of a quarrel, "Randolph," aka Kells with a fake beard and a pillow stuffed inside his knickers, leaps out of bed and tries to put a weak Bruce Lee stance on his woman, but concedes when she says she'll do whatever the hell she's gonna do. "Well do it, then!" he challenges, like a ten-year-old on "nanny-nanny-boo-boo" duty.
* SYLVESTER AND TWAN: PUT IT IN PARK
Twan, letting his chops fly about smacking some fools, gets muted when Sylvester rolls up the window of the whip. Now
that's how to shut someone down.
Stay tuned for more best-of and psychoanalysis of the psychodrama - and updates from the film premiere.
