Lil Wayne: Dissed from All Directions
According to inside sources, Lil' Wayne is currently ironing out a diss record for 50 Cent, who appeared on Funkmaster Flex's show on Hot 97 in July and metaphorically referred to the rapper as being a "whore." In the meanwhile, though, Weezy seems to have smaller fish to fry. This time, instead of Gillie da Kid, Wayne is taking shots at the Aphilliates Music Group rapper Willie the Kid.
Willie was reportedly upset by Wayne's comments about DJ Drama after the uber-DJ was tapped by the FBI for racketeering early this year. "Smarten up," the pint-size rapper told MTV concerning Drama. "If you don't play fair, all kind of things can happen. You gotta watch people like DJ Clue, watch people like DJ Khaled. They do it right."
In the July issue of VIBE, Drama waved off the lack of support following the raid, saying, "I wasn't looking for someone to save me."
Willie, on the other hand, hasn't been so diplomatic. The Michigan spitter dropped a track this past week called, "Fully-Loaded Clip" where he takes direct shots at Weezy.
"You kissing niggas you gay . . . Now when Baby and Wayne were kissing/ I was with a bitch getting head in my kitchen/ When Trina told Wayne 'I love you boo' he wrote a love song but she was fucking Baby too."
Before the record, Weezy took a shot at Willie on an April episode of BET's Rap City, where he rhymed in the booth: "I'm a shark in the water/ yet I swim with the big/ so I don't have time to deal with Willie the Squad."
Meanwhile, in the original "Fully-Loaded Clip," rapper 50 Cent had his own grievances to air out concerning Weezy. "Trina was telling Wayne, I love you boo/ She was running games, she told Buck that too," he rhymed.
"A whore sleeps with whoever would pay him," 50 said on Hot 97 concerning his lyrical assault on Weezy. "So we gotta call him a whore- you'll just go with whoever would pay you to be on a record."
Recently, 50 accredited Weezy's success to himself, telling Sohh, "He wouldn't even be making the mixtapes because I invented that . . . When he freestyles on a mixtape, it's a song format because he's following my format."
No comment or reply record from Wayne has been released yet.
