It's your boy. First track from his concept album, based on the Frank Lucas biopic American Gangster. It's a drug joint - Lucas was Harlem's heroin kingpin in the '70s - produced by Pharrell. What do you think?

Frank Lucas says:
Yo,
We just wanted to send you some information about Frank Lucas the son of the American Gangster who is a rapper and music producer. We are not certain if you are aware of the budding story that is stirring from the streets of New York. The story involves street credibility and who is really telling the TRUE story as it relates to the American Gangster. The storytellers are Jay-Z and Frank Lucas.
Below is Frank's bio and stance on the TRUE definition of "Gangster" and what and how our youth need to be redirected. Spoken through first hand knowledge.
We also would like you to check out some of the links below. There is a huge story that is brewing. Just an example of what is about to happen in this search for truth...Frank Lucas is getting ready to release a song called; "Blue Magic" featuring (the group that inspired the drug) Blue Magic.
We look forward to your reply. Thank you for your time.
ONE!
Lucas Legacy Entertainment
Frank Lucas
And the
American Gangster Commission
For the past ten years the youth have been misinformed on the true definition of “Gangster.” Today’s image is: Guns, Gwap (money) and Glory all counterproductive images of an oppressed community and another “G” word the “Ghetto.”
However, today’s youth (unlike the youth of yesteryear who were fed information) seek information and have yet another “G” word “Google” that enables them the opportunity to find the truth.
Add in first hand knowledge that today’s youth have experienced through the by products of this misinformation (which is friends/peers either locked up or dead) the definition of “Gangster” no longer has the Glory it once had and their desire to seek out the true definition has opened the Gateway to the story of a true American Gangster… Frank Lucas.
However, like the youth of today there is the next generation… the son of the American Gangster who knows the true definition that today’s youth is seeking and it’s not Guns, Gwap & Glory. Instead it’s the combination of mind, body and soul to achieve the most important “G” word and that is your Goals and what Frank Lucas (the son) today’s American Gangster calls the: “G Factor”
The “G Factor” incorporates many of the qualities his family and elders taught him through the family business but also lessons that were taught directly to him by his father and the father figures in the community at that time. These lessons have groomed Frank Lucas (the son) to be the direct heir to the throne with a mission to continue and grow the Lucas Legacy.
The “G Factor” is easily defined with these four words: Gentleman, Go Getter, Gwap and Goals! The mind is the “Go Getter.” Taking the Gangster image mental and making a thought process in how to achieve your Goals. The body; is understanding that no man is an island and that every “G” must have his Gang, his team that makes the engine to achieve his Goals… Go! The soul is understanding that with every action is a reaction and that to let Go and let God with your inner self, your inner core, your inner being concentrating on your goal with knowledge of self… nothing can stop you!
Hence, the story of the “Crown Holder” Frank Lucas the “Prince of NY” who is ready to lead the nation of today’s youth to enjoy their American Empire with the drug of his choice: music & entertainment.
Welcome to the world of Frank Lucas… the son of the American Gangster!

Whose Hopeless says:
Once the time comes to reign in a kingdom the king must commence to the people by English law. The streets hold a different code or blue print. According to the "code of the streetS" first u get the money, then u get the power, then u get respect! In an old Jewish story a king who faught many wars held much bloodshed on his hands. Because of this bloodshed he was unworthy of building a kingdom here on earth to his God. So he was instructed to have his son receive the blue prints and construct the temple for their God. The son was a success and the kingdom was filled with peace and abundance for a span of time. For every rock their is a stone cuter and setting.

MOBETA says:
I have to be honest...when I first heard this, I was like...."NOOOOOOO!!!" However, I have to say that this is classic. Jay is just ahead of the game. We all know 80's is back-just listen to any Justin Timberlake or Kanye joint. Pharrell has long been on the 80's tip before many-all the Prince sounds he was using before anyone else. Too, one can look at Young Joc-see the next cover of SCRATCH mag (he's straight out of the 80's on the cover shoot). Look at the return of dookie chains. Okay, okay...nuff said, right?
I have to say this is classic simply because of where things are going and what Jay was trying to accomplish. This is like a new school "6 in the morning-Ice T."
aight...
Peace

mstruth says:
I don't know if you are aware but Mr. Frank Lucas has a son Frank Lucas who also does music. He unlike Jay-Z doesn't have to call himself Frank Lucas because he is Frank Lucas.
The son is getting ready to release a mixtape for the streets that will be dropping in October. He also has a group of MC's called: The American Gangster Commission which is scheduled to drop in November as well. It is Frank Lucas's intention to form an American Empire. Taking after his father footsteps except his drug of choice is music and entertainment.
Competition is good for the music industry. It seems only fair that if you are talking about the inspiration of the American Gangster you might want to interview his son to see what he has learned from his father and how he intends to continue the Lucas Legacy.
I know in this business information is key so I just wanted to give you another story that is developing as we speak. We as reporters seek the truth and so I just wanted to give you the scoop because Frank Lucas the son, is the American Gangster by birthright.
Peace!
