A third man has agreed to testify against O.J. Simpson in exchange for
reduced charges involving a September robbery at the Palace Station
Casino in Las Vegas. Simpson and two other men face 12 criminal charges.
Michael McClinton has agreed to plead guilty to robbery and conspiracy
to commit robbery, the AP reports. McClinton, 49, will testify against
Simpson and two other men involved in the case, where Simpson and five
other men allegedly confronted two collectibles dealers inside a guest
room at Palace Station and stole Simpson-related sports memorabilia
while armed.
McClinton posted $32,000 bail, and will testify that Simpson asked him
to bring two guns to the hotel room where the robbery took place on
September 13.
Simpson had previously claimed that no weapons were
involved in the alleged robbery.
McClinton could receive probation and a maximum of 11 years in prison.
He is set to testify in court Nov. 8.
