Sometimes beef is resolved the old-fashioned way: with a personal touch. That's what Kanye West discovered after visiting the home of infamous stuntman Robert Craig "Evel" Knievel, which led to a squashed beef and a tossed-out lawsuit.
Knievel had sued 'Ye in December 2006 over the "Touch the Sky" video, wherein Kanye West assumed a Knievel-like character called "Evel Kanyevel," and faked a flying motorcycle stunt across the Grand Canyon. The real Evel felt 'Ye was biting his style, and filed a federal lawsuit for copyright infringement on his name and likeness. He was also tossing around some serious hating; the stuntman was quoted as saying, "That video that Kanye West put out is the most worthless piece of crap I've ever seen in my life, and he uses my image to catapult himself on the public."
But one minute with ya boy and old Evel was whistling a new tune. Kanye recently visited the daredevil at his home in Tampa, Florida and, according to a press release from Def Jam, the case was amicably resolved and dismissed.
A photo was snapped. 'Ye and Evel threw up deuces by the fireplace. The heart warms.
