In a two-part video released on YouTube today, former B2K member Raz-B has accused Chris Stokes, his cousin and B2K's founder and former manager, of molestation.
Raz-B, real name D'Mario Monte Thornton, alleges that Stokes molested him and insinuates that he may have done so to the rest of the group. Stokes formed B2K in 2001. Other B2K members included Lil Fizz, J-Boog, and Omarion.
The group is best known for the 2002 hit single, "Bump, Bump, Bump." They broke up in 2004, reportedly for financial reasons.
In the shocking video, Raz-B is seen speaking to two people via. cell phone, one identified as Michael Houston, the father of Marques Houston, and a woman name Danielle Houston, identified as Marques Houston's older sister.
Raz-B says he was 11 and 12 years old when the alleged abuse, took place. "It started one day with Chris Stokes," Raz-B said while on the phone with Danielle Houston. "He said, 'Let me touch it.’”
At one point, Raz-B says on the phone with the female identified as Danielle Houston, that things went further.
"If you continuing to fuck with this nigga, you must like it," the woman on the other line said.
"Yeah, somebody must liked it," Raz-B said. "I'll tell you I didn't like it, I'll tell you my ass hurt."
"I'm not trying to seek revenge," Raz-B added. "I'm letting it be known. I'm not lying about a muthafuckin' thing. . . I'm calling ya'll [the Houston family] out of respect."
In a part 2 video, Raz-B's brother, Ricardo Thornton, a.k.a. Ricky Romance tells his side of things. "Molestation type of shit happened to me. Chris made me take showers with other boys," Ricky Romance said. "So all that little shit my brother was introduced to, that shit was brought to me first. And I blocked that shit [out] because I wasn't with it. I kind of knew what was going on over there but I took my brother to Chris and I didn't protect him like I should had. He molested my muthafuckin' brother and he molested me."
At one point of the video, Ricky is on the phone with a man identified as Chris Stokes. Says the man, "I don't do that no more. . . I just don't do that in my life no more. If you were around me now, you'd go, 'What? That's not my cousin."
Stokes released a statement today, denying the abuse:
"The accusations that Demario 'Raz B' Thorton and Ricardo Thorton have made are vehemently false and hold no merit. I have recently stopped financially supporting both individuals along with assisting them with their criminal and legal matters which leads me to believe they are resentful and looking to benefit financially from this. My family is my first priority and the reason why I have been so supportive of them. In bringing these false claims, they have not only slandered me, they have also put me in a position to ensure that the truth is known and I will take all legal routes to protect myself, my family and my four children."

Being a mother of a young son this angers me greatly. I don't know what my reaction would be towards a man or any person who violated him in the manner in which the young men from B2K were violated. Its sick to me due to the fact that we as women know what an oopsy mean with a grown man and that is PAINFUL imagine it happening to a young child who is not matured yet EXTRA PAINFUL. Do these molesters think that because a child is young that they will FORGET....Let me give you a clue they don't. There are alot of adults out here that don't believe some of the things their children say but our children today are alot smarter and wiser and they do remember. I BELIEVE THEM 100% and I pray that justice is done. This cycle must stop...Chris Stokes just count your lucky starts that it wasn't my child that you touched inapproriately. Marques if you are guilty I hope you get what is coming to you as well. This is one story I will keep up with until the end.

OmG so sad... it really does take a real man to let it out like that and confront the situation and the source. I say the only one to blame is Chris Stokes, regardless of whether or not RaZ knew what was going on because he was still a child and that's just freakin sick. (Raz, thank you for speaking up not only for you, but for the millions of others who've been through the same and are too scared to speak up) so right about God handling it, that's even worse than revenge. Keep ya head up!!!!

I listened to this and the first thing I thought was dude incriminated himself by saying he use to do that. This is a sad issue, I can't imagine that anyine with a child wold make up a story like this. Bi-polar as Chris is claming or not. There was a reason chris got punched in the face back in the day. Ihope Raz-B and Ricky get what they are looking for. You can't take back what was done but you can tray and move forward. Ron Pearlman, Michael Jackson, Puffy and now this. There Should really be a law that prohibits this from happening or the cycle is NEVER going to end. Now ownder michael Jackson is so messed up.

Too right bring man down its only right that people should no the truth, if raz speaks the truth ( which i and many more will from the utube clip believe he does) shouldnt we applaud him 4 the courage and strength he has managed 2 show. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! A Child looks to a grownup 4 trust, security, stability, love They should be rolemodels to the younger generation.
