Another man takes rap for last summer's alleged beatdown of Jimmy Henchmen's teenaged son

Last summer, the 14-year-old son of Jimmy Henchmen, CEO of Czar Entertainment, was beat down, allegedly by members of G-Unit, specifically Tony Yayo.

But did Yayo do it?

Not really, according to new evidence introduced in a New York Criminal Court yesterday (January 10). During the trial, the district attorney said that Lawell Fletcher told cops that he was the perpetrator and assaulter, and that in fact, Yayo had tried to hold him back from smacking the boy. If this is true, Yayo could be cleared of charges in his trial, presently set for March 31.

Scott Leeman, Yayo's lawyer, told the New York Daily News, "This latest disclosure shows there was an attempt by the [NYPD] to cover up evidence that could have cleared my client. This should have been disclosed a long time ago."

The altercation, which occurred last April outside the offices of Violator Management in Manhattan, allegedly stemmed from the beef between G-Unit and The Game, which is represented by Czar Entertainment. Henchmen's son was walking down the street wearing a Czar sweatshirt when he was beaten. He was en route to his internship at his father's company.

On Tuesday morning, the home of Barja Walter, Yayo's road manager, was shot up with bullets and molotov cocktails. Nine months prior, the Queens home of Yayo's mother was also shot up. No one was hurt in either incident.
