Rap star Game reportedly got out the slammer today, after eight days, but according to the rapper's representative, he's still rocking county blues.
According to Allhiphop.com, Game's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley announced the rapper (real name Jayceon Taylor) was released early today for a gun incident that occurred last year. But a rep for the rapper says he was simply transferred from one prison to another because of his gang affiliations.
Charges for Game stem from an altercation in February 2007, where outside the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in Los Angeles, Game punched a player from an unknown team during a pick-up basketball game. He then reportedly ran to grab his gun, before threatening the man. He was arrested three months later.
The rapper was sentenced February of last year to 60 days in prison and ordered to do 150 hours of community service.
