Legendary rap duo will release next album on Grand Hustle Records

Despite all of the controversy surrounding platinum-selling rapper T.I., the hip hop heavyweight has yet to lose sight of what the people want…hot music.

At popular Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash concert this past Saturday (June 14) Tip announced that legendary Memphis rap duo 8 Ball & MJG has signed to his label, Grand Hustle Records. Soon after, T.I. surprised the sold out crowd with an impromptu performance by the group.

This news comes just one year after the release of Ridin’ High, the duo’s last LP on Bad Boy Records. Grand Hustle has not yet announced a release date for the group’s first single.

those are two southern legends that consistently go gold with releatively low radio/video play. too bad diddy pushed 20mill to promote his albums and money for yung joc. actually, they should have their own hustles by now. well, that is my opinion.

I wonder if the Son of Sam law can be attached to T.I.
We stipulate his street cred increased thus increases his profits...

Who are his victims? those who bought his album(s).
