Amy Winehouse is no stranger to trouble, but now the troubled singer’s
father is predicting his alleged cocaine-addicted daughter might be on
her way to the grave sooner than expected.
According to the UK’s Daily Mail, Winehouse has contracted emphysema, a
deadly lung disease.
Winehouse father, Mitch, says that his daughter may
be in a wheelchair by the next month and forced to wear an oxygen mask
to breathe if she didn’t heed doctors advice to get off drugs.
“The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won't
just ruin her voice, it will kill her,” Mitch says.
The24-year-old singer was rushed to the London Clinic hospital last week
for the disease. It was originally thought that she had tuberculosis.
Winehouse's publicist confirmed today that the singer did indeed have the
deadly lung disease. "It's totally reversible and she's responded well
to treatment.'"
