T-Pain Launches Label

Nappy Boy Digital will begin on the web

T-Pain is reportedly starting his own digital music label, Nappy Boy Digital. The well-known hook-specialist is currently signed to Akon’s Konvict Music. The new label will allow him to unveil his music to fans via web. “Nappy Boy Digital is a dream come true for me, “ T-Pain said in a statement. “I’m excited about bringing music to people fresh out of the studio.”

The first artist to be released under his new label is an up-coming rapper called Tay Dizm. T-pain, along with rapper Rick Ross, is featured on his new single "Beam Me Up”, already available on iTunes and is soon to be released on radio June 16.
