The members of N*E*R*D have found something in Common, because the hip trendsetters will be joining forces for the “Seeing the Invincible Sounds of the Summer” tour.
The Chicago-bred MC and the trio (Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, and Shay Haley) will join forces for a colorful, eclectic set that will feature music from their collective compilations. Details have yet to emerge, but there have been confirmations of three cities for the concert series.
N*E*R*D’s Seeing Sounds is currently enjoying its success on the charts, while Common’s next album, Invincible Summer, is due out this fall.
As of press time, the following dates have been confirmed for the "Seeing the Invincible Sounds of the Summer" tour
• September 7, 2008 – Atlanta, GA @ The Tabernacle
• September 23, 2008 – Denver, CO @ The Fillmore Auditorium
• September 27, 2008 – Chicago, IL @ House of Blues Chicago
