It’s been years since Allen and Albert Hughes were the talk of Tinseltown. But that’s all about to change. According to Reuters, the brothers are teaming up with Academy Award winning actor Denzel Washington to direct a post-apocalyptic drama called, The Book of Eli.
In the film, produced by Warner Bros., Washington is a hero trying to bring a futuristic American society that has turned into a wasteland, information for its own redemption.
The Hughes Brothers are best known for directing 1993’s Menace II Society, and 1995’s Dead Presidents. Their last film, From Hell, came out in 2001.
