Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Richard Collier was shot several times Tuesday morning while sitting outside an apartment complex in Florida.
Collier, 26, was taken to the hospital where he is reported to be fighting for his life.
According to The Florida Times-Union, Collier was sitting inside a Cadillac Escalade outside an apartment complex where he and teammate Kenneth Pettway had followed two women home after a night of clubbing. As they waited for the women to come out of the apartment, someone walked over to the vehicle and fired shots at Collier, who was sitting in the drivers seat.
