Jennifer Hudson To Wed Reality Star

J-Hud will hop the broom with VH1’s “Punk”

After dating for reportedly less than a year, Jennifer Hudson and her fellow Chicago native boyfriend David Otunga, are engaged.

According to MSNBC, the singer and Academy Award winning actress was proposed to by Otunga on her 27th birthday, Friday night in Los Angeles. Otunga, a former Harvard Law School grad, is best known as “Punk” from VH1’s reality show, I Love New York 2. He reportedly gave Hudson a Neil Lane diamond ring.
