After the uber-success of Carter III, why not IV? Lil Wayne has revealed on his ESPN.com sports blog that he’s not only working on Carter IV, but also a Dedication 3 mixtape with DJ Drama.
The Carter III sold 2.5 million copies, Reuters reports. Before Carter IV, which Wayne gave no release information on, he’s hitting the world with Dedication 3 for all the Weezy mixtape junkies who couldn’t get enough of his 2006 critically acclaimed, Dedication 2 mixtape. Both mixtapes are apart of DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz brand. “You can expect (it) real soon," Wayne said of Dedication 3.
The 26-year-old rapper says that after Dedication 3 drops he’s going to re-release it with 20 bonus tracks that will be available free on his Web site.
In 2009, Wayne and T-Pain are planning to drop a duet album called, T-Wayne.
