72-year-old Donald "Don" Cornelius, was arrested Friday night after suspicion of domestic violence, but has been released on a $50,000 bond.
Cornelius, the creator of the popular black dance show Soul Train, was arrested at his California home and taken to Van Nuys jail around 8 p.m. According to the Los Angeles Times, no victim has been identified, or taken to the hospital. Cornelius posted bail of $50,000 early Sunday morning and is scheduled to appear in Los Angeles Superior Court November 14.
