Kanye West is still getting over the horrific loss of his mother and best friend Donda West, and now he’s pondering his role in her death last year.
In an interview with People.com, West says that he feels his celebrity lifestyle possibly contributed to the demise of the 58-year-old. "I feel like I moved to California, then my mom moved to California, and she did stuff she wouldn't have done if we'd stayed in Chicago," he said. "If I'd never made it in the music business, it never would've happened… Now I'd rather talk it through than commit suicide. I'm super devastated."
On November 10, Donda West, a former professor and author, died at the Centinela Freeman hospital in California due to complications from plastic surgery.

janise50 it's ironic you take one of my statements out of context and then moralize over that portion of my totatl comment. Ignorant! I guess it's ignorant to say God is in charge. I guess it's ignorant to say God didn't think anything was wrong with her appearance. By the way I lost my mom at age 5. I was falsely imprisoned at the age of 18 for 15 years (Lori Roscetti case). God helped me through it all. If you really cared about Kanye, you would have realized that my comment was aimed at getting him to remember who made him successful. Not like you, saying sh*t that would probably push the Brother over the age. Oh yeh! I'm a millionaire also (by God's wonderful permission). So you see, it wasn't about Kanye's money. So janise50 it seems you need your own advice. It sounds good too. Follow it!

thunderclap7, have u lost ur mom? if not, u wouldnt understand, like i said i lost my mom last year, and all sorts of shit runs through your head even blame, so for u to say give me your money since u feel guilty and it sounds ridiculous is just pure ignorant, so until u lose someone like moms just keep your fingers off the keyboard!
i lost my mom also last year 3*5*07, and i also felt blame, she was my best friend, and when we miss our best friends so much, we do too much thinking about their passing away and thoughts of blame comes to mind, i moved away from her to Atlanta for 7 years, we talked everyday, visit each other about 4 times a year, and i just thought if i didnt move from her would she still be alive with me, but i moved to pursue my career so i can reverse the roles and take care of her, but i guess god wanted her more so i feel him west, and its so f**king hard, i even went into therapy for almost a year, and i am still not over it, its going to take awhile.

you're absolutely right! give me and my family all of your money since you feel so guilty. as much as i love you. this is the most ridiculous thing i have heard you say. i know you loved your mother, however, do you think sitting around blaming yourself with regards to decisions she made will make you feel better. you are here for a reason. God made you successful. wealth distorted moms view, don't let it distort yours. one minute you believe in God and now it sounds as if you doubt your belief. God is in control remember that. God didn't
think anything was wrong with moms appearance. she did! be strong kanye!

big feelings for kanye, i could never imagine what it's like to lose your mom. plastic surgery's a dangerous thing, but i don't see why it was so easy to mess up breast reduction surgery. but please don't blame yourself, this isn't your fault.

let this be a lesson for others so that her death wasn't in vain (although getting plastic surgery sorta hard to dismiss as anything but). Only most ironic is this: Kanye took the traits that his mom had and ran with them, only to see her succumb to them. With him saying this, he's a smarter guy than we already know he is.
