Singer will be hitting the road with Robin Thicke

Jennifer Hudson is ready to hit the road again after performing back to back at the Super Bowl and the Grammy’s.

The Oscar and Grammy Award winner has avoided the spotlight since late October of 2008, due to the tragic murder of her mother, brother and nephew. At the 51st Annual Grammy Awards, Hudson received the Grammy for her self-entitled debut album, and also performed “You Pulled Me Through” to a standing ovation. With that kind of support, Hudson has been motivated to get back on stage,  and she will start by co-headlining a tour with R&B singer Robin Thicke.

The first stop will be in Philadelphia on April 2 and end five weeks later on May 8 in Houston. Chicago, Baltimore, New York City, Detroit, Memphis, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., Dallas and Los Angeles are on the list, according to Hudson's Web site. No dates or venues have been announced as of press time.

"I am so grateful—my first Grammy and my first tour," Hudson told People. "It doesn't get better than that."
