Konvict Muzik Rapper Murdered
Dolla, a rapper signed to Akon’s Konvict Muzik, was murdered Monday outside a mall in Los Angeles Monday. He was 21. Dolla, real name Roderick Anthony Burton II, was waiting in the valet area of the Beverly Center when he was ambushed. According to the Los Angeles Times, a person of interest was taken into custody, after being spotting at the Los Angeles International Airport with a 9 MM gun. Dolla was signed to Akon’s label in 2007. Link
Kanye Pleas ‘Not Guilty’ In Case Involving Paparazzi Scuffle
Rapper Kanye West has given a plea of not guilty for one count of misdemeanor vandalism, one count of battery and one count of grand theft, following the altercation caught on video of Ye and his manager getting into it with paparazzi last year at the Los Angeles International Airport. Link

The inspiration behind the unflattering Miranda Priestly character in the film The Devil Wears Prada, Vogue editor-in-chief Ann Wintour, has admitted in a Sunday interview with 60 Minutes that she put Oprah on blast in 1998 by telling the daytime queen she had to lose weight…before she could be a Vogue cover girl.
