Trey Songz Denies R&Beef With R. Kelly
Yesterday, a new song by Trey Songz hit the net, and the topic was rather interesting. Clearly inspired by Jay-Z’s new “Takeover” jam, “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune),” Trey Songz decided to expand the topic to R&B, and its self-proclaimed “Pied Piper” R. Kelly. So he created his own “D.O.A.” He has sensed gone on his website to explain the alleged diss. Songz excuse? “I just want R. Kelly back.” Link
Sisqo and Cam’Ron…Both Being Sued
It’s the tale of two artists. Rapper Cam’Ron, and former Dru Hill lead singer Sisqo, are both being taken to court by a trademark firm, over alleged unpaid legal bills. The suit, filed Monday in New York, claims that Cam’Ron owes a little over $43,000, and Sisqo owes around $20,000. Link
Lauryn Hill Cancels Tour
Sorry Europe. Apparently, Ms. Hill is too sick to visit. According to the Associated Press, Lauryn will not be making her highly anticipated appearance at the Stockholm Jazz Festival. The singer’s spokesperson, Liisa Tolonen, has told reporters that her client has backed out because of unspecified health related reasons. Link
