Usher Files For Divorce

It’s official: Usher has called it quits. The pop star has filed a divorce petition Friday at the Superior Court in Atlanta from his wife of two years, Tameka Foster-Raymond. Last week it was reported that Usher was allegedly not returning Tameka’s phone calls. Now we see why. A sort of “us against them” mentality, Usher and Tameka vs. the media, marked the couple’s relationship. Usher was known for constantly fighting against criticisms of his union with the older woman who use to be his stylist. “Am I much of a bad guy because I decided to get married?” Usher rhetorically asked in a 2008 VIBE cover story. “Am I so much of a bad guy [because once I got in the situation], I decided to stand for something, build a foundation, and think about  my future? As a man, you would respect me for not turning my back on it.” The two have one child together. The reason for the divorce, is currently undisclosed. Link
