Call it Divapalooza if you must, but there's no denying the star power of the recently announced Verizon Ladies First Tour. You'd need a forklift to hoist all the Grammy® Awards and other accolades earned by the tour's headline acts -- Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, and Missy Elliott -- and one can only imagine the armadas of make-up artists, hair stylists, personal trainers, dancers, piano tuners, and other random entourage members that will be trailing these tour buses. Ladies First will also feature special guest Tamia, and kicks off its month-long jaunt on 3/12 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Full tour dates appear below.
In other spring tour news, Britney Spears is hoping that Kelis can bring lots of boys (and girls) to the yard as the opening act for Britney's Black Onyx Hotel Tour. No doubt the two ladies will share a milkshake or two (or maybe Brit will ask for the recipe) during their 25-date jaunt which opens 3/2 in San Diego. Kelis will also headline her own date at the Roxy in Los Angeles on 3/7.
