don imus choose the words to call us ho*'s and nappy heads...and then the white media has convinves you all that it's your own fault and peopl are actually buying it!...Just because "we" say it..does not constitue "you" saying it...but you dont' like that ..so you turn it around on us so you don't have to be accountable. Leave hip-hop alone - it is freedom of speech all day long. And those in our own community who are pressing this change are examples of the persons that have fallen for the trap instead of recognizing freedom of speech and to each his own..meaning if you dont like the words or music..simply dont buy it. Heck I don't like Faith Hill...or Marilyn Manson..so guess what ...I don't hear what they are saying by choice. Teach your young men and women the difference between real life and entertainment and they will be able to determine that what people say in rhymes or on the tube is personal expression ONLY..similar to acting.
