The Game upsets Andre 3000, final four is now set

So goes the NCAA Tournament, so goes VIBE’s Best Rapper Alive tournament. Despite what many believed would be a final four made up entirely of number one seeds, fans of Ludacris and The Game had slightly different plans.

The major upset came via the Pimp C bracket, where number three seeded Ludacris beat out number one seeded Lil Wayne. The self-proclaimed Best Rapper Alive fell to Luda, who received 57 percent of the vote. The Game, also a number three seed in the Big Punisher bracket, beat out that bracket’s number one seed, Andre 3000 by 53 percent.
Over 78,000 votes were recorded in the fourth round.

Number one seeded Jay-Z beat out his little brother Kanye West, 65 percent to 35 percent, while number one seed Eminem beat out Nas in the 2Pac bracket.

VIBE’s Best Rapper Alive Final Four is now as follows: Jay-Z versus Ludacris and Eminem versus The Game. Voters have until August 24 to determine the tournament’s championship match up. Who will it be? You decide at VIBE.com/bestrapper.
